for the nth time
for the nth time
the world mocked me.
feeling groggy because of lack of sleep and distracted schedule i dragged myself out of my bed to attend my sosc1 class. the thought of not going even tempted me but i was already absent last meeting. i grabbed the little time given to me to have my lunch and finished it just 3 minutes before my class starts. i rushed to the classroom. walking in the middle of thousands big drops of rain. walking in the middle of an umbrella war. a disadvantage of jeepney rerouting. if you don't know how to bring an umbrella, then always make sure that you're ready to get your pants soaked and you're whole body disgustingly wet. life is indeed a survival of the fittest. i have an umbrella.
i pushed through my way and arrived just in time for my class or 2 minutes late. but the world always make fun of me.
no one is inside the classroom. not even a note that the class transferred to another classroom or what. it's a consequence for my being absent last meeting.
i waited for a few minutes in the lobby. many students are also there waiting. waiting for the rain to stop. waiting for umbrellas to drop in front of them so that they will be able to attend their next class somewhere.
no sign of my classmates or of my teacher. damn. i just soaked my shoes and my pants in the rain just to be able to attend that class...but there is no class..no class...no class!!!! i should have lingered and rolled more to the comfort of my bed. ohhh...how really ironic the world is!!!
i saw ramon there. mukha syang itlog. hahaha basag na itlog. dahil sa gupit niang semi-kalbo. pero appealing pa rin. but i have no time for F101. i lost the appetite. ngek! parang food lang eh.. busy kasi ako..as in hapit na hapit sked ko.
i saw the list of graduating students this sem. i wished that my name would be enlisted there soon. i looked for ramon's name and found none. maybe the world is mocking him too.

spin around one more time
spin around one more time
i just couldn't help but ask why my acads had such a deep dive.
seriously this plunge has gone alarmingly intolerable.
my mind is set into thinking that i can always manage to drive madly towards the end of this chaotic academic life..until this sem during when i started lousily my scientifically-inclined career..i lost the enthusiasm to learn the depths of those processes..i even thought of it nonsense..
my goals are bent.
i lost myself to nowhere.
the chance of escape is abnormally low.
and there's absolutely no help to expect
no choice and no hand to grip.

..the idea of homecoming: dropped..tsk,tsk!
..the idea of homecoming: dropped..tsk,tsk!
i have been even dreaming of it.
i was so excited. i actually counted the days down.
and it's just one week more to go.
but my teachers in my major subjects scheduled the 2nd exams on the week after that Saturday.
i now have six exams on that week plus the deadline of the 1st draft of my manuscript.
i seriously hate it.
after promising my adviser that i will try something about my grades, the idea of attending the event is now dropped.
now, i feel like the bitchy cinderella.
i can't go to the ball.
World!!!
will any fairygodmother be able to save me on that cursed night???
i silently wish there is.

Meeting with my adviser
Meeting with my adviser
Sometimes things really come to their worst.
1. Going to class proved to be a punishment especially when it is scheduled at the earliest time possible...7am.
Bad: Waking up and preparing to attend the wrong-timing major subject.
Worse: Sitting for one whole hour in a room full of boring classmates and a boring teacher.
Worst: Trying to collect all your guts to be able to concentrate on the lesson.
2. An adviser is a gift form God.
Bad: Having to attend a major subject in an unholy hour with your adviser as your teacher.
Worse: She tolerates your sleeping habit in her class.
Worst: She calls for a meeting with you and try to carry you back to reality, convince you that you should be conscious of your acads and tell you to examine yourself carefully and set goals for the future.
Thanks God for dumping people like her on my way.

at CAS Dean's Office
at CAS Dean's Office
Goodness!
the weather outside pushes me to hibernate.
but i can't.
because life is ironic.
An old man turned ninety-eight
He won the lottery and died the next day
It's a black fly in your Chardonnay
It's a death row pardon two minutes too late
And isn't it ironic... don't you think
It's like rain on your wedding day
It's a free ride when you've already paid
It's the good advice that you just didn't take
Who would've thought... it figures
Mr. Play It Safe was afraid to fly
He packed his suitcase and kissed his kids goodbye
He waited his whole damn life to take that flight
And as the plane crashed down he thought
"Well isn't this nice..."
And isn't it ironic... don't you think
It's like rain on your wedding day
It's a free ride when you've already paid
It's the good advice that you just didn't take
Who would've thought... it figures
Well life has a funny way of sneaking up on you
When you think everything's okay and everything's going right
And life has a funny way of helping you out when
You think everything's gone wrong and everything blows up
In your face
A traffic jam when you're already late
A no-smoking sign on your cigarette break
It's like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife
It's meeting the man of my dreams
And then meeting his beautiful wife
And isn't it ironic...don't you think
A little too ironic...and, yeah, I really do think...
It's like rain on your wedding day
It's a free ride when you've already paid
It's the good advice that you just didn't take
Who would've thought... it figures
Life has a funny way of sneaking up on you
Life has a funny, funny way of helping you out
Helping you out
I won in a SocSci1 QuizCon.1st place with Jeff and Crysta.
Being a BioStudent really proved to be an advantage.
i'm stucked in UPLB.
for five lonely, boring, pathetic, catastrophic days.
history indeed repeats itself.
there's no storm.
none yet.
im waiting for it.
waiting in vain.
i want to hibernate.
haaaayyyy...
my life is a great paradox.
im full of emptiness.
i want to go home.

Daily Overview for August 16, 2007
Quickie:Banish laziness by getting up and being active today. Let your feet guide you.
Overview:Spice up your daily routine with something a little different. If your friends think you're stuck in a rut, they'll soon see otherwise as you show them just how flexible you can be. Your good energy helps the flow.
Weekly Forecast for August 13, 2007
Fun times and affectionate friends (or more-than-friends) are in your personal stars at the beginning of the week. Don't work late, and don't wait for the weekend! Around Thursday and Friday, your health matters even more than usual. Yes, you'll want to work out, but you don't want an injury from overdoing it. Be sure to pace yourself or partner up with someone who helps you keep things slow and steady. It's your emotional state that's highlighted this weekend, and it could be less than stable. Watch for having a short fuse, but be sure to enjoy the passion the universe is sending!
Monthly Forecast for August, 2007
Get out your barbecue tongs and your lighter fluid and your 'Kiss the Chef' apron on the 1st and 2nd, because it's time for you to have a summertime party. It doesn't have to be anything major. No need for the crystal and linens. Just call a few of your nearest and dearest and ask them over. Tell them to bring tofu kebabs if they don't like hot dogs. Whip up a nice potato salad, throw ice cubes in the Kool Aid and prepare yourself for a little sharing and caring. Yep, it's high time you talked to your friends about what's on your mind: the good, the great, the bad and the so-so. By the 4th and 5th, you're feeling really glad that you got some input from your support network. Not only did they have helpful things to say, but they reminded you that you're not alone with your decisions. On the 11th and 12th, somebody might snag your 'Kiss the Chef' apron. Oh! Are there too many cooks in the kitchen? Don't give up your space at the grill. On the 17th, it's time for you to get fit. So hop to it! On the 21st and 22nd, count your pennies. How many dollars do they add up to? Ignore somebody who's being weird on the 26th, and on the 30th, why not plan a few more barbecues?
This is one of the proofs that Horoscope Reading is illogical.
But I read it anyway.

grow old with you
grow old with you
good afternoon everyone
we're flying at 26,000 feet
MovingUp to thirty thousand feet
and then we've got clear skies
All the way to las vegas
and right now we're bringin you
some in-flightEntertainment
one of our first-class passengers
would like to sing you a song
Inspired by one of our coach passenger
and since we let our first-classPassengers
do pretty much whatever they want
here he is
I wanna make you smile whenever you're sad
Carry you around when your arthritis is bad
All i wanna do is grow old with you
I'll get your medicine when your tummy aches
Build you a fire if the furnace breaks
Oh it could be so nice, growing old with you
I'll miss you
I'll kiss you
Give you my coat when you are cold
I'll need you
I'll feed you
Even let ya hold the remote control
So let me do the dishes in our kitchen sink
Put you to bed if you've had too much to drink
I could be the man who grows old with you
I wanna grow old with you

The Curse of the First Exams
The Curse of the First Exams
Subject 1: 52%
Subject 2: 68.1%
Subject 3: 62%
Subject 4: 67%
Subject 5: 67%
Subject 6: 100%
Subject 7: tagal mag-check ni ma’am
Subject 8: kakatapos lang kanina
Hindi ako nahihiya.
Why would I be ashamed of my performance??
The bad thing is that I am used to having higher grades at my first exams. Also, I am used to having those grades flunked at the next exams. If I will stick to that trend, I’ll be damned because of these initial grades.
When I told you that I only have the other half of my brain left, I was dead serious.
